North Bridge Brasserie
The North Bridge Brasserie recently underwent a stunning renovation, as part of the hotel’s multi-million pound facelift.

The Scotsman Hotel and the North Bridge Brasserie occupythe former offices of The Scotsman newspaper, which inhabited the building for nearly a century. The restaurant and bar is set in the newspaper’s former imposing marble reception hall.

The Victorian room is filled with earthy tones, features wooden tables and mulberry and burgundy velvets and leathers. Tables are set carefully, achieving an intimate ambience whilst in spacious surroundings. A striking contemporary steel staircase connects the restaurant with the gallery seating. In the centre of the room flanked on each side by four imposing marble pillars lies the modern cocktail and wine bar.

The mezzanine level seats intimate tables for two along the upstairs gallery offering a vantage point of the action below.

The brasserie serves modern Scottish dishes celebrating the best of Scotland combined with a carefully thought out wine and whisky list
